As part of his new role, Stockdale – who founded Tor Fashion 20 years ago – will oversee the Leeds-based distributor’s entire UK sales operation while helping to extend its portfolio through the introduction of new brands. He will continue in his current position as brand representative for a number of labels, including Cream, Frank Lyman and Orientique, across the South of England.
Carol C Collections founder Carol Capener describes the new partnership as “hugely positive,” adding that it brings together two of the UK’s leading fashion distributors and agencies. “Tor’s extensive experience and professional sales ethic will enable our distribution and agency model to grow even stronger,” she says. “We’re very pleased to welcome him into our family business and are confident that it will create fresh opportunities for growth.”
Both companies stress that Stockdale’s new appointment will not affect the day-to-day running of Carol C Collections or the representation of its brands, but will enhance the overall sales approach. “We are confident that this new hybrid model will be a real success in terms of the sales support and customer service we can offer as a wider team,” Capener adds.
Carol C Collections, voted Favourite Supplier at the Boutique Star Awards 2025, imports popular fashion brands from around the world, offering stockists access to international brands with no duties or import tax. Key collections include Orientique, Foil, Betty Basics, Tara Vao, One Summer, Brave + True and See Saw, plus many more.
